Answers
1. BTOtech.com ships globally to all countries. Our payment and shipping terms varies for each. Currently we accept credit cards from U.S.A. only. No international cards are accepted. We also accept PayPal from USA, UK and Canada. We accept paypal globally via our ebay store. We accept Bank Wire Transfers. Please read below for instructions on how to place your order.
a) Payment from USA, Canada and U.K. can be made via paypal. All other countries outside the USA must pay by bank wire. We do accept paypal from all countries in our eBay.com store. Please request a listing if you are outside of U.S., U.K. or Canada and wish to use paypal. b) Customer must accept liability for all custom duties. Contact your customs in your country please. 2. Your best bet to protect yourself is to run a background check on the seller. Of course your creditor (paypal, visa, mc, amex) protects the buyer as well. All vendors should offer some kind of 3rd party feedback forum (eBay or resellerratings.com). If your potential seller does not offer a link to a feedback forum then that seller has something to hide or nothing to show. 3. We will ship your product within 1-5 business days depending on the product. We do deliver on time, rest assured timely delivery is always a top priority. North eastern USA time in transit is about 1-2 days. West coast time in transit is 3-5 business days. Expediting is available. We ship from N.Y. via UPS to all U.S.A. and most overseas destinations. UPS time in transit varies by country and location but generally does not exceed 5 business days.
4. We accept credit or debit cards and paypal. Checks, money orders, wire transfers are always welcome. FPO/APO & International customers must make payment by check or wire. Payment must be made payable to Tech Spot, 998 Old Country RD STE C120, Plainview, NY, 11803, USA
5. No, our complete systems come fully assembled and tested. All upgrades are also installed and configured. Operating systems if paid for always include a certificate of authenticity and installation disks for all computers.
6. (Tech Spot) BtoTech.com (formally Geared2Play.com) is a N.Y. registered company. We must collect sales tax from buyers residing in NY state.
7. All system components are tested individually even if the buyer does not purchase windows. We use a software bootable tester that tests the cpu, memory, main board, controllers, harddrives, optical drives, video, even the psu. The whole testing process takes about 3 hours from an automated program.
8. We would love to see you keep your computer for the remainder of the warranty without the need to send it back for repair. That is why we provide second to none tech support over the phone, live-chat, instant message and forum. Please see our warranty and contact pages for further details.
9. We pay for round trip shipping for any repair in warranty. Please see our warranty pages for further details.
10. Shipping charge to continental USA will be determined upon checkout. This charge includes full insurance, delivery confirmation, tracking, handling, and the cost of packaging materials. UPS ground is the default transportation. West coast customers of course wait the longest since the package has to travel from New York. A customer has the option to upgrade to air transit and add expedited turn-around during or after checkout.
